Through unique movement exercises you’ll discover the role that space, time and eye contact play in avoiding dangerous interactions and how to greatly reduce the potential of being targeted for an attack.

Get introduced to simple and practical release and run techniques and self defense principles that are useful in a variety of situations.

Learn how to pay attention in a way that reduces the potential of being targeted.

Learn what to do if you suspect you are being followed.

Gain information about how and where to strike efficiently and effectively

Practice simple self defense principles and techniques when dealing with attacks from the front, from behind and above

Monthly Preventative Personal Protection Workshop

Learn skills in listening and verbal/ non-verbal boundary setting and how to use those communication techniques to recognize potentially dangerous people and situations.

Rather than learning situational defensive strategies, or “what do I do if…” scenarios,  discover a new place  from which to think and make decisions from so that you can take action to protet yourself no matter what.

Sensei Zelda is a 4th Degree Black Belt in Full Contact Traditional Karate. She has taught martial arts and self defense to children and adults for 10 years.

Her experience ranges from club security, to competitive full knockdown fighter, to stunts and fight choreography.

For the last 5 years, she has led workshops in preventative personal protection, listening, verbal and non-verbal boundary setting, awareness, and self defense.
